Keith Nally, President & Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Nally is a senior executive with 38 years of operations, financial management and consulting experience with both public and private firms. Mr. Nally has been a successful entrepreneur, having founded and successfully managed businesses in real estate development, residential homebuilding, environmental engineering and remediation, construction, consulting, investment and advisory services.
Specific financial expertise includes extensive tax expertise, business organizations and restructurings, successful negotiations with commercial and investment banking institutions, oversight of mergers & acquisitions, limited partnerships, knowledge of SEC reporting requirements, and internal control strategies. As a financial consultant, he has developed solid expertise in troubled debt restructuring strategies, management of estates and trusts and advising wealthy clients on international business growth strategies.
An excellent leader and a solid performer with a documented track record of successful financial performance with the companies he has managed. Mr. Nally is currently president of Redstone Capital Group, LLC. He started his career with the international accounting firm, Coopers & Lybrand (now PriceWaterhouseCoopers). During his career, he has leveraged his financial expertise to become a successful real estate developer, a consultant with Resources Global Professionals (formerly Deloitte & Touche LLP) and president and chief executive of an Engineering News Record top 200 U.S. environmental remediation firm. Mr. Nally is a Certified Public Accountant and a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting.
Kenneth W. Day, Vice President & Treasurer
Kenneth Day has 37 years of management experience. Mr. Day has held a number of c-suite positions in his career including, chief financial officer for a Kentucky-based, regional heavy and highway construction firm; chief operating officer for a U.S. based holding company with interests in oil and gas, construction, retail auto dealerships and commercial real estate; and chief executive officer for a regional U.S. environmental engineering and construction firm involved in federal Super Fund work.
Mr. Day also serves as president of Redstone Energy Partners, a Kentucky-based energy consulting and advisory firm and has worked as a consultant in the oil and gas industry with Resources Global Professionals (formerly Deloitte & Touche LLP). A graduate of the University of Kentucky with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting, Mr. Day is also a Certified Management Accountant with the international Institute of Management Accounting, The Association of Accountants and Financial Professionals in Business.
Norman D. Owens, Director, Global Client Relations
Norman Owens studied pre-veterinarian medicine at the University of Kentucky for four years. During that same period, he worked for the renowned thoroughbred veterinarian, Dr. Robert W. Copeland, where he learned first hand about the proper care and treatment of thoroughbreds and attained hands-on knowledge of thoroughbred confirmation. After leaving Dr. Copeland’s employ, he worked for Bloodstock Research and Statistical Bureau where he furthered his knowledge of pedigree analysis and evaluation.
For the next 20 years, he was a principal in the firm, American International Bloodstock Agency, Inc., which became the worldwide leader in gross sales for thoroughbreds. Mr. Owens, along with his brother were the leading agents consigning thoroughbreds at the Keeneland, Fasig-Tipton and Saratoga sales. During this time Mr. Owens was co-owner of Forest View, Grangeway and Houstondale Farms in Bourbon County, Kentucky, which specialized in the boarding and sales prep of some of the world’s finest thoroughbreds including LADY’S SECRET (Horse of the Year), and LIFE’S MAGIC (Champion). He was also co-owner of Holly Hill Training Center in Holly Hill, South Carolina where thoroughbred legends like Triple Crown winner SECRETARIAT and Champion RIVA RIDGE received their early training.
